It is a great investment for those looking to adopt their first system. With the Autodrain System, you can effortlessly pump excess nutrient solution to waste. This method encourages root growth, resulting in a significant increase in your root zone. Moreover, you can regularly monitor the EC and pH levels of the nutrient solution to optimize your feeding.

With the IWS Autodrain Pro, the Control Unit can collect run-off from multiple plants, allowing for the ability to monitor pH and EC levels and ensure optimal nutrient distribution. Additionally, this modular system allows for customizable set-up, optimizing waste management potential.

How does it work?

The Autodrain quickly eliminates run-off, preventing root rot, increasing nutrient uptake and promoting growth, while decreasing the risk of crop-destroying issues such as Pythium.

The Autodrain Control Unit gathers and transfers run-off to waste when it reaches the lower float switch.

Why use Autodrain Pro?

Prevents Overwatering

Excessive watering can result in root diseases and a decrease in oxygen levels for the root area. The IWS Autodrain Pro system effectively prevents over-watering by automatically draining any excess water from the growth medium.

Monitoring efficient nutrient delivery

Autodrain Systems allow users to monitor the amount of run-off and the EC and pH levels to ensure optimal nutrient uptake.

Oxygenation of roots

Auto-drain systems, like IWS Flood & Drain Systems, oxygenate the root zone.
