This premium plant leaf wash is formulated from specially blended natural plant extracts and oils, making it a safe and environmentally friendly option for protecting plants in hydroponic systems, greenhouses, grow rooms, and traditional gardens.

Spider mites can rapidly damage plants by feeding on leaf tissue and reproducing quickly in warm indoor growing environments. SMC Spidermite Control works through a physical mode of action, coating and blocking the breathing pores of spider mites and insects which causes them to suffocate. At the same time, the solution encapsulates eggs, significantly reducing their ability to hatch and helping to break the pest lifecycle.

Made from natural vegetable oils and plant extracts, this pesticide-free formula is safe to use on edible fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants and houseplants. It leaves no harmful residues, evaporates naturally after application, and does not harm beneficial insects such as bees or predatory insects used in integrated pest management programs.

SMC Spidermite Control is highly concentrated and economical to use. When diluted with water, the 100ml bottle can produce approximately 4 litres of ready-to-use foliar spray, making it a reliable solution for growers needing consistent spider mite prevention and treatment.

Key Features

Organic spider mite control leaf wash for plants

Eliminates spider mites and helps prevent eggs from hatching

Pesticide-free formula made from natural plant extracts and oils

Safe for edible plants, fruits, vegetables and ornamentals

Harmless to beneficial insects and pollinators

Leaves no harmful residues after application

Suitable for hydroponics, indoor growing, greenhouses and gardens

Highly concentrated formula – economical and easy to use

Can be used throughout the plant growth cycle (avoid spraying flowers)

How SMC Spidermite Control Works

SMC Spidermite Control uses a mechanical mode of action rather than chemical pesticides. When sprayed onto plant foliage, the solution coats spider mites and blocks their breathing holes, leading to death by suffocation. The solution also covers spider mite eggs, preventing proper gas exchange and dramatically reducing the chance of them hatching.

This physical action helps prevent pests from developing resistance, making SMC an effective part of a long-term integrated pest management strategy for indoor growers and greenhouse cultivators.

Directions for Use

Dilute the concentrate at a rate of 25ml per 1 litre of water and shake well before use. Spray the solution evenly across all plant foliage using a fine mist, ensuring both the tops and undersides of leaves are thoroughly covered. For best results apply at the first sign of spider mite activity and repeat applications as needed. Avoid spraying directly onto flowers.

Specifications

Product Name

SMC Spidermite Control Leaf Wash

Size

100ml Concentrate

Product Type

Organic plant leaf wash / spider mite control

Target Pests

Spider mites, greenfly, blackfly, whitefly and other common pests

Mode of Action

Physical suffocation of insects and egg encapsulation

Active Ingredients

Natural plant extracts and vegetable oils

Dilution Rate

25ml per 1 litre of water

Coverage

100ml concentrate makes approximately 4 litres of spray

Suitable For

Indoor plants, hydroponics, greenhouse crops, fruits, vegetables and ornamentals

Safety

Pesticide-free, safe for beneficial insects, pets and children
