How To Use

Choose Your Configuration: Decide whether to operate the Elite Split LED as a complete 1000W grow light or separate it into two independent 500W fixtures. Use the combined configuration for a larger canopy or the split configuration when lighting separate growing areas.

Installation: Securely suspend the fixture above the plant canopy using suitable hanging equipment and follow the manufacturer's installation instructions. Ensure the mounting arrangement can safely support the fixture and that both sections are correctly secured when operated separately.

Power Connection: Each 500W section features its own integrated LED driver, removing the need for an external ballast. Connect the lighting equipment to an appropriate electrical supply according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Adjusting Light Intensity: Use the integrated dimming controls to adjust output between 25% and 100%. Lower settings can be used for young plants and early vegetative growth, with intensity increased as plants mature and their lighting requirements rise.

Vegetative Growth: Position the light above the canopy and select a suitable dimming level for the crop. Adjust the fixture height and output to maintain appropriate light intensity while encouraging healthy, even vegetative development.

Flowering Stage: Increase the light output as required during flowering, taking account of plant response, canopy height and environmental conditions. The combined 2900 µmol/s PPF output provides high-intensity lighting suitable for demanding flowering applications.

External Lighting Control: Use the integrated RJ connectivity with a compatible external lighting controller where required. The fixture also supports linking with compatible equipment for larger lighting installations.

Coverage and Positioning: When used as a complete 1000W fixture, the recommended growing area is approximately 1.5m x 1.5m to 1.8m x 1.8m. Actual coverage and suitable hanging height depend on the crop, canopy dimensions, growth stage and required light intensity.

Cooling and Ventilation: The passive cooling system operates without fans, providing silent lighting operation. Maintain suitable grow room ventilation and avoid obstructing the fixture's heat-dissipating surfaces.

Maintenance and Safety: Switch off and disconnect the fixture before cleaning or repositioning. Keep the LED surfaces free from dust and follow the manufacturer's electrical safety, installation and maintenance instructions. Avoid exposing electrical connections to irrigation water or excessive moisture.
